Our house was in a movie! A horrible movie, but a movie! It's so surreal seeing scenes of the house as it was originally designed. Not that much had changed on the a-frame side by the time we bought it 40 years later – the kitchen had been opened up and expanded, but that was about it.
The movie, Head Over Heels, was so awful they re-released it with an alternate ending and renamed it Chilly Scenes of Winter (to match the book it was based on). Still awful I would assume, but hilarious for us to see.
My brother got us a brand spanking new VHS of the movie for Christmas and we're still on the hunt for an original poster!
